Following the transmission of On Angel Wings for the BBC, broadcast on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2014 on BBC One, Illuminated Films is pleased to announce that On Angel Wings achieved the top ratings for the representative time slots.

On Christmas Eve, On Angel Wings won the slot average, premiering with an average viewership of 1.9 million, peaking at 2 million and a 13.8% share of the audience. On Angel Wings fought off competition from a variety of family favourite Christmas movies.

Viewers enjoyed celebrating by watching the new vision of the nativity on Christmas Day with a repeat of On Angel Wings. The film achieved the most viewers in the slot with an average of 1.5 million viewers and a 16.3% share of the total audience.

On Angel Wings is also live on the BBC iPlayer and still available to watch and download until the 23^rd January 2015. Digital viewing numbers will be released once this period has come to a close.
